Welcome to Avion Gold Corporation

Avion is a Canadian-based gold company focused in West Africa. The Company currently holds 80% of the Tabakoto and Segala gold projects in Mali.  Gold production at these projects has commenced, with approximately 66,000 ounces of production forecast for 2009 rising to almost 101,000 ounces by 2012.  Avion has a highly skilled management team, with a focus on growth and consolidation within West Africa.

Avion Hosts Conference Call To Update Shareholders
May 20, 2009. Avion Gold Corporation hosted a 30 minute conference call to update shareholders and other interested parties. Stan Bharti, Chairman of Avion Gold Corporation, chaired the call, followed by updates from John Begeman (President & CEO), Don Dudek (VP Exploration), and Andrew Bradfield (COO). Avion To Attend Hard Assets Show in New York
May 11th & 12th: Avion Gold Corporation will host a booth at the NY Hard Assets Show on May 11th and 12th, 2009. Any attendees or shareholders who will be at the show are welcome to drop by the Avion booth and get an update on the company and it's projects in Mali.
Avion Hosts Tabakoto Mine Reopening Ceremony
May 1st, 2009: Avion Gold Corporation held an re-opening dinner at site for analysts as well as other key figures in the mining industry. In attendance were top management from Macquarie Capital Markets, Canaccord Adams, and Wellington West. Also in attendance were Peter Holjer from the Jordan Fund in Sweden, as well as Bob Moriarty from www.321gold.com. Management from Avion Gold Corporation (including Chairman Stan Bharti, Rene Bharti (VP - Corporate Development), John Begeman (President/ CEO) , Don Dudek (VP - Exploration), Pierre Matte (Mine Manager) and Andrew Bradfield (COO)), as well as Director, The Hon. Pierre Pettigrew, welcomed the group in showing them the mine site, as well as having dinner at the camp. The team at Avion believes the trip was a great success, and looks forward to hosting another reopening ceremony May 11th, presided by his Excellency the President of Mali M. Amadou Toumani Toure and several Ministers and other state representatives.
Avion Attends Denver Gold Show in Zurich
APRIL 27th, 2009: Avion Gold Corporation recently attended the Denver Gold Show in Zurich as an Emerging Producer Sponsor. Management from Avion, in addition to several board members received a chance to mix and mingle with key industry and personnel from the mining world. Several productive one-on-one meetings were held with people interested in hearing about West Africa's newest gold producer!
